Joh. Springer’s Erben’s guns & rifles Museum – manufacturing tradition since 1836
During the renovation of our historical location in the Josefsgasse, the history of the Austro-Hungarian Empire was embedded into the design. The legendary work of our gunsmiths is made tangible in a museum. Featuring exhibits which showcase the almost two-hundred-year history of this family business can be traced back almost three-hundred years. Celebrating its history through innovation, the company has its finger on the pulse of the times with new editions of its self-produced rifles and shotguns.
The glass walls of our workshop make the gunsmith’s craft visible and almost tangible. Displaying the many steps involved in turning raw materials into a fine weapon, as well as the servicing and repairing of many types of weapons, can be observed by anyone interested in the process.
When the weapon is finished, it will be handed over to the customer in the stylish ambience prevalent in our offices. Weapons produced here over the centuries silently observe their successors.
