The African rifle: Quarter rib, colour hardened action with back-action sidelocks, intercepting sears, select walnut stock, pistol grip, oval cheekpiece, fine chequering on fore-end and pistol grip. Elaborately engraved colour hardened pistol grip cap with trap, full-coverage scroll engraving on action, top lever and elongated trigger guard, the latter blued and nicely contrasting the colour hardened triggers.
The chambers have been reamed in England in 2003 allowing for the .375 H&H Flanged (originally made for the .375 H&H Velopex), re-proofed and expertly restored. Including its makers case and accessories are beautiful and rare item!
